For KS1 teachers, English Subject Leaders
Examine ways to create an effective writing classroom which will enthuse and support young writers in Key Stage 1 and raise achievement. This course will explore important aspects of the classroom literacy environment and key routines for writing including approaches to spelling. We will consider the important contribution made by quality texts and the use of playful and creative approaches including talk, drama, drawing and bookmaking.
