This highly practical, one-day course offers teachers a range of supportive drama and role-play approaches to enable children to explore texts in depth. This quality of engagement supports children’s confidence and willingness to present their ideas in different written forms. We will look at ways of using drama to help children develop meaningful responses, expressed through talk and writing, to the world of the story and its characters.
