For KS2 teachers, English Subject Leaders
Explore ways to develop a creative approach to teaching and learning with literature at the core. Participants will be introduced to effective ways of developing units of literacy work based on powerful texts using a range of creative teaching and learning approaches. Opportunities to extend learning across the curriculum will also be considered. This course will draw on recent projects led by CLPE which have shown that focusing on a whole text for an extended period supports children’s achievement as readers and is also reflected in the quality of their writing.
