For KS1 teachers, English Subject Leaders
Explore ways to create a rich extended literacy curriculum in years 1 and 2. Participants will be introduced to effective ways to develop units of work around quality texts. Opportunities to extend learning across the curriculum will also be considered. We will consider how drawing on a range of creative approaches such as play, role-play, drama, storytelling and talk can develop children’s confidence and success as readers, writers and learners.
