An essential course for every English subject leader, this highly regarded 10 day course supports teacher and school development and is accredited at M-Level.
The course equips participants to lead whole school development in English in order to raise children’s literacy achievement. It will be of particular interest to schools with newly appointed English subject leaders and those with language and literacy as a key focus within their school development plan. The course will develop participants’ subject knowledge and effectiveness in their role as subject leader.

Teachers successfully completing the course can choose to submit course work for accreditation to gain a Postgraduate Certificate, equivalent to the first year of an MA. These points are transferable to higher education institutions.
