Voices is the 2010 anthology celebrating poetry writing by children in Southwark. It is a vivid expression of the vibrancy of poetry writing and creativity in south London schools.
Through poetry children give voice to their experience, reflections and feelings, creating a rich seam of writing. The poems draw on children's deep engagement with and enjoyment of challenging literature, encouraged by their school's involvement in CLPE's influential Power of Reading Project.
Children's striking visual art adds an extra dimension to the poems, along with the animations of a collection of poems on the accompanying CD.
